Bibich teacher named Indiana Academic Coach of the Year

ST. JOHN – Bibich Elementary School’s Michelle Snow was named 2022 Academic Coach of the Year by the Indiana Association of School Principals.

Snow received the award for her work in helping launch the school’s Spell Bowl and Math Academic Teams for Hoosiers (MATH) Bowl programs. She was announced Monday night at the Lake Central School Corp board meeting. honored.

School board member Janice Malchow, a former Bibich principal, recalled a conversation she had with an IASP staffer.

“What she told me is that up here in the region, that area has the strongest resonance in the MATH Bowl and Spell Bowl, and she said a lot of that has to do with the energy that Michelle Snow brings,” Malchow said .
