How the SBLive Indiana Power 25 teams fared in Week 14: Carroll defeats Hamilton Southeastern

By Kevin Messenger

So much for the perceived dominance of Indianapolis area schools over challengers from the rest of the state.

Bishop Chatard and Lutheran advanced to the Class 3A and A title games, but Fort Wayne Carroll beat the top-ranked HSE and East Central eliminated No. 6 Roncalli in the 6A and 4A ranks.

On a snowy Semistate evening, No. 1 HSE, no. 2 Cathedral, no. 6 Roncalli, no. 7 Fort Wayne Snider and No. 14 West Lafayette denied a chance to play for a state title.

1. Hamilton Southeastern (Fishers) (12-1) lost to No. 4 Fort Wayne Carroll 21-15

HSE never reached the end zone in the second half and a last-minute field goal and an onside kick were as close as the top-ranked Royals could come against the undefeated Chargers.
