The Indiana Pacers are proving to be a sneaky team in the Eastern Conference

The Indiana Pacers went 25-57 in the 2021-22 season, their worst record since winning just 22 games in the 1984-85 season.

There hasn’t been much excitement within that organization and it seems like the Pacers are headed for a full rebuild, especially with All-Star Domantas Sabonis on the trading block.

Then the news broke – the Pacers split Domantas Sabonis with the Sacramento Kings in exchange for Tyrese Haliburton and Buddy Hield. Perhaps the 2021-22 season wasn’t a “lost season” for this franchise as it may have shown them a path to success in the future instead.
