BUT SOME STATES BUT SOME PEOPLE ACTUALLY GET SNOW AND. IT’S NOT JUST A PAIR OF SPRINKLES. THERE IS A LOT OF SNOW. WE ALSO HAVE SOME WINDS ON THE HORIZON. THEREFORE, SNOW AREAS ARE POSSIBLE. BUT FOR HERE AT HOME IN ALBUQUERQUE 36 DEGREES BY 9AM. THESE CLOUDS ARE SURROUNDING AND WE COULD SEE SUNSHINE HERE AND THERE. AND AT 6:00 AM THE SUN SETS. THESE TEMPERATURES ARE POSSIBLE FOR A FEW FLURRIES NEAR THE SAN DIEGO MOUNTAIN AREA. ACROSS THE STATE THE TEMPERATURE IS 21 IN GALLUP AND 24 IN GRANT. IN 28 UP IN CITIES, 30 IN RATON. SNOW IS ALREADY FALLING THERE. YOU CAN SEE SOME CLOUD COVER STARTING TO MOVE DOWN SOUTH. AND TODAY THE WINTER STORM WILL AFFECT US. SHOWER BLOWING SNOW. SNOW AND SOME EVENING TRAVEL ALONG I 25 AND I 40. IF YOU WANT TO BE AWARENESS, WE ALREADY HAVE A WIND NOTICE FOR NORTHEAST NEW MEXICO. THIS IS VALID UNTIL 5 PM TONIGHT. THESE WINDS MAY BE UP TO 50 MPH. BUT WE ALSO HAVE SEVERAL WINTER STORM WARNINGS, AN ADVICE FOR THE AREA IN PURPLE. THE SAN MANZANO MOUNTAINS AND ALL PINK THAT IS A WARNING WHERE WE WILL SEE SEVERAL INCHES OF SNOW. PROBABLY NOT THE BEST TRAVEL CONDITIONS. THIS IS A CLOSER LOOK AT THIS STORM THAT’S REALLY PULLING DOWN HERE IS 7AM FRIDAY. SO THE SNOW WILL STAY IN SOUTHEAST MEXICO. IT WILL NOT START CLEANING UP UNTIL WE GO INTO SATURDAY. AND YOU CAN SEE JUST A FEW LITTLE. BUT IN THE AFTERNOON ON SATURDAY EVERYTHING BEGINS AND WE GO TO NORMAL FOR AT LEAST A FEW DAYS. THAT’S ALL SAID AND DONE. WE EXPECT ABOUT 10 INCHES OF SNOW IN RUIDOSO, 11 INCHES IN ROSWELL AND JUST MORE THAN FOUR IN CARLSBAD. DEFINITELY LOOKS LIKE A WINTER WONDERLAND IN THIS AREA OF FARMINGTON TODAY, 46 DEGREES AND SUN SKIES, A VERY DIFFERENT STORY THAN WHAT WE CONSIDER IN EASTERN MEXICO. IN THE SOUTHWEST, 39 AND GOOD MEADOWS AND 49 HERE. SEE SUNNY SKY, SILVER CITY, THE ALTITUDE THERE 47 DEGREE AND SOME SUNSHINE FOR THE NEXT FEW DAYS, 32 DEGREE FOR THE HEIGHTS IN THE MIDDLE. SO ROSWELL, THIS WILL BE 49 DEGREES THAT WILL BECOME 35 TOMORROW TOMORROW DURING THIS WINTER STORM BULKED IN CEDAR CREST 37 AND LAS VEGAS, 35.
