Prepared for surprise | music

The first track on the album Electronic Landscapes by Santa Fe musician Double Image starts simply with a booming synthesizer note, creating a sense of floating animation, before a sequencer adds some textural variety around 45 seconds.

There are no lyrics, choruses or clear themes like love or overcoming adversity. It doesn’t even have a name; the 10 tracks are simply called “Landscape I”, “Landscape II”, “Landscape III” and so on.
