SANTA FE, N.M, November 15, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — State Employees Credit Union is pleased to continue its support of the Children’s Miracle Network for the 5th annual fall fundraiser and Cars for Kids auto show. In October, State ECU encouraged members and employees to raise important donations to help sick children have more positive experiences while they heal by soliciting member donations at their branches, in gift basket raffles, and through a match program for every car loan which was financed this summer from state ECUs. State ECU donated $1 for each $1,000 Funded May through August.
This year the initiative was raised $100,000 to support an important resource for children, The Connected Academy. Connected Academy is an on-site learning program at University of New Mexico Children’s Hospital, which allows children in the hospital to keep up with their studies and return to their local schools as their health improves.
“We welcomed back the community for our Cars for Kids Car Show October 22nd. This music and classic car day with entertainment, food and a kids zone was a fun way to bring the community together to support the Children’s Miracle Network on a beautiful fall day santa fe“, says Andy Ramos, President and CEO of the State ECU. “We thank everyone for their five years of support and dedication to this organization that provides such important service to the community. Every single donation, big or small, helps make a difference for children here New Mexico.”
