NOW FOR TODAY’S FORECAST. YES, JUST DIG IT UP AND CLEAR THE SNOW UP AND DOWN THE CENTRAL MOUNTAIN RANGE. THERE IS PRETTY SNOW ON THE GROUND. CEDARCROSS, EDGEWOOD, ALL THE WAY DOWN TO THE SACRAMENTO. LOOK AT RUIDOSO. THEY HAVE MAINTAINED THE ROADS ON BOTH LANES BUT IT LOOKS THAT THERE IS ABOUT FIVE OR SIX INCHES OF SNOW ON THE GROUND. THIS STORM SYSTEM HERE WAS FOCUSED MAINLY IN AREAS NOW SOUTH AND EAST OF ALBUQUERQUE. AND SNOW SHOWERS RAPIDLY DECREASE IN COVERAGE AND STRENGTH. SOME HEAVY SNOW LIES RIGHT AROUND LOVINGTON AT HOBBS EARLY THIS MORNING AS THE SNOW SHIFTS. BITTER COLD GETS DOWN. HAVE A FEW PLACES WHERE WE EXPECT ADDITIONAL SHOWERS LATER TODAY. I HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL THE WEEKEND BEFORE WE WARM UP AGAIN. ADVERTISING 50 DEGREES. OUR NEXT CHANCE TO HIT THAT NUMBER MAY BE SUNDAY OR MONDAY. IT WILL BE A COLD START WEDNESDAY, TOMORROW, COLDER THAN TODAY. STILL THE BREEZE WILL HAVE IT FOR WINDCHILL FACTORS AND A LITTLE SNOW HANGING MAINLY IN THE NORTHERN MOUNTAINS. MANY NORTHERN NEW MEXICO TOPS OUT BELOW FREEZING ON WEDNESDAY. WE ONLY HAVE 38 IN ALBUQUERQUE. LOOK AT THE MORNING LOW WHEN WE WAKE UP THURSDAY. DETAILS AND TEENAGERS. I DON’T EVEN KNOW IF THIS WILL BE THE COLDEST MORNING OF THE WEEK BUT IT WILL BE A BITTER COLD START THURSDAY NOON AND AFTERNOON WITH SUNSHINE.
